Hugo Alejandro is the name and breakin' hearts is my game. Mom really wanted a brother to keep her 13 year old Yorkie company, so she started doing research and settled on my breed since Airedales are known to be very smart, loving, loyal, athletic and hypoallergenic. After a short wait, she was on her way to meet me in Bagwell, Texas, when she got lost and saw signs for Hugo, Oklahoma.
Once she finally made it to the farm she had her eyes set on “red” boy, but he wasn’t as cuddly as I was. I knew she was the one, so I picked her to be my fur-ever-mom. I reached out to her, she picked me up, and I gently snuggled into her neck. She knew I was the one and that is when I went from being “turquoise” boy to Hugo. Our connection has been strong from day one.
I still remember that first day home - I was in the room downstairs and could not find her, so I searched for her and climbed the stairs to be with her. I was only 8 weeks old and I was already fearless, courageous and determined to be by her side. I love and protect her every single day. She loves and spoils me every single day. We are inseparable!
